\nFrances Christine Fisher Veasey, Deputy Director, Banyan Analytics, is a Project Management Professional, certified by the Project Management Institute\u00ae, with over 12 years of experience in homeland security-related fields. As a subject matter expert on emergency response as well as exercise design and execution, she has led exercise planning efforts for various state, federal, National Guard, and healthcare and public health agencies. She served as lead exercise planner for seven major exercises, including the civilian component of the 2011 Arizona Statewide and Vigilant Guard Exercise. She was recruited as Program Manager for the Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute\u2019s support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency\u2019s (FEMA\u2019s) Office of Training, Exercise, and Doctrine\u2019s Exercise Unit, where she revitalized and greatly improved the agency\u2019s internal exercise efforts. For the Office of Training, Exercise, and Doctrine\u2019s Exercise Unit, Ms. Veasey led planning, execution, and reporting for over 25 no-notice Thunderbolt Exercises and the National Level Exercise held in May 2011. She also contributed to FEMA\u2019s revision of the National Incident Management System document as an assistant program manager, lead writer, and subject matter expert. She has worked on multiple tasks, often concurrently, supporting the Pentagon Force Protection Agency\u2019s Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Directorate; the National Guard Bureau; FEMA; the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas\u2019 Security Affairs; and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency\u2019s (DARPA\u2019s) Special Projects Office.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
