In July of 2016, Dr. Maki Fukami received a 2016 IAEM-Global Certificate of Appreciation for her assistance in scheduling the Pilot PDTC (Professional Development Training Certificate) Program.
The Pilot PDTC was developed by IAEM for the international emergency managers especially outside of the United States.
Dr. Fukami attended the Pilot PDTC Program along with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government officials.
