Interns
IIGR strongly believes in supporting the future of emergency management/disaster resilience by accepting a limited number of university-level student interns each academic semester. Our interns may come from a variety of majors such as pubic administration, business administration, political science, international affairs, or other. Previous knowledge of emergency management or disaster resilience is not required.
During their stay at IIGR, the interns conduct research, participate in IIGR meetings and other activities, attend seminars, and produce reports and other tangible products. Our goal is that every internship function at the level of a university course and that it be meaningful, educational, and productive for the intern as well as for IIGR.
