In January of 2019, Dr. Maki Fukami gave a lecture at the Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University. During the lecture, students participated in team training while wearing ICS jackets, and learned team building skills while studying risk analysis.

Starting October 1st of 2018, IAEM will have a new representative, Takashi Nagata. Dr. Maki Fukami has handed over the position to Takashi Nagata after serving as the IAEM Japan Representative for 7 years and the Director of the Headquarters for 3 years.
